Hello everyone! Like many of you, we have been getting back into the swing of things as school has started up and schedules get busier. We have spent some time recently meeting with the principal and vice principal of the school to discuss fundraising needs and goals.
As a result of these meetings, and due to the agreement that we need to focus our efforts on larger more lucrative fundraisers as well as grant applications, we have decided to make a few changes to some of our on-going fundraisers. The changes are listed below:
- We will be cancelling our Independent Consultant Fundraiser effective immediately. We would like to thank everyone who contacted us regarding participating in this fundraier. We wish you all the best with your endeavours.
- The school has obtained a recycle bin located on the east end of the parking lot. There is a company that will be collecting bottles that are dropped into this bin and all of the proceeds will go directly to the school. As such, we are going to cancel our bottle drop off at the depot as well as our monthly collections and we ask that if you would like to donate bottles, that you take them to the school and drop them in the bin instead.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
That being said, we are working on some larger fundraisers to come later this year or early next year, our casino application has been approved and will be sent off soon (we still have a 12-18 month wait) and we hope that you’ll keep your eyes and ears open and support us on those when they happen.
